MOQ Requirements
When a Chart Is NOT Enough
A sizing chart gets you to a starting size. It cannot solve these situations:
- Irregular-shaped products. Jerky strips, hardware, toys, or anything that doesn't settle like granules breaks the density math. Fill a physical pouch instead — the $40+ sample kit exists for exactly this.
- Retailer shelf-height or facing rules. A pouch that fits your product but not the planogram gets delisted. Check your retailer's spec sheet before locking dimensions.
- Very light, fluffy fills. Chips and puffed snacks vary batch to batch and charts under-estimate them. Test-fill the next size up before committing.
- Sizing to the brim. Sealing and zipper closure need 20–30% headspace. If your calculated size leaves none, go one size up.
- Child-resistant or specialty closures. That is a closure spec, not a size spec — it changes the usable height of the pouch and needs a separate conversation.
