Digital Pouch Printing — No Plates, From 500 Pcs
You want custom-printed pouches without betting $2,000 on printing plates before your product has sold a single unit. HP Indigo digital printing: photographic quality, unlimited colors, 500-pc minimum, 2–3 week turnaround.

Quick Summary
If you are launching, testing SKUs, or running seasonal designs, digital printing removes the two biggest barriers: plate fees and 10,000-unit minimums. Achieve Pack prints on HP Indigo 25K presses with food-safe, FDA-compliant inks — full color, variable data (unique QR codes per pouch), and your first run in 2–3 weeks. When your volume grows, we move you to gravure and tell you exactly when the crossover saves you money.

What Digital Printing Is NOT
Digital is the right call for most small runs — but not every run. Straight answers:
- NOT the cheapest per unit at volume. Above roughly 5,000 pcs, gravure plate printing wins on unit cost — around 45% less per pouch — once you absorb the one-time plate fees ($500–2,000). We will quote both so you can see the crossover point.
- NOT a perfect Pantone guarantee. HP Indigo covers about 97% of Pantone. Fluorescent and true metallic inks are not possible digitally — those need plates.
- NOT unlimited format size. Maximum web width is 720mm, so pouches over 350mm x 500mm go to plate printing.

HP Indigo Color Accuracy & Printing Proofs
Low-MOQ runs must deliver enterprise-level visual branding. We inspect color alignment tolerances, ink adhesion strength, and white underprint opacity using spectrophotometer color matching to ensure pixel-perfect pouch graphics.
Color Matching (X-Rite)
Spectrophotometer validation ensuring brand color consistency across batches.
Ink Adhesion Test (ASTM D3359)
Tape peel test to ensure ink does not peel or scratch during shipping and handling.
White Ink Underprint Opacity
Ensures rich, vibrant colors when printing on transparent or brown kraft films.
Digital Press Calibration
HP-validated polymer ink integration, offering excellent heat and rub resistance.
Lamination Peeling Force
Ensures the printed film layer never delaminates or separates from barrier layers.
VFFS Low-Temp Sealing
