One thing to know before you spec PVA: the same water sensitivity that makes the bag dissolve on the cast also makes it sensitive to humidity in storage and transit. We pack PVA bags in moisture-barrier outers and recommend dry storage below 60% RH.

Our PVA water-soluble bait bags are made from polyvinyl alcohol film that completely dissolves in water. Perfect for carp fishing, catfishing, and other angling applications. Fill with pellets, groundbait, or boilies - cast and watch the bag dissolve, creating a concentrated bait cloud around your hook.

What PVA bags are NOT
- • NOT safe in humid supply chains without care. PVA absorbs moisture from air. We ship in sealed barrier outers with desiccant — you need dry storage and dry hands on the packing line, or bags will block and weaken.
- • NOT a home-compost claim. Water-soluble is not compostable. PVA dissolves and biodegrades in wastewater treatment conditions; do not print compostable claims on it.
- • NOT for wet or liquid fills. Any free water in the product starts dissolving the film. For liquids, look at our spout pouches instead.
- • NOT the right film for long shelf display. It is a delivery mechanism, not a retail barrier bag. If you need shelf presence plus water solubility, ask about PVA inside a printed outer bag.
