Limits

-A recycled-content claim, not a recyclable one — different axes
-Batch-to-batch colour variation inherent in post-consumer feedstock
-FDA food-contact testing required per application — not automatic
-Higher recycled % can reduce barrier performance
-Not compostable — PCR is still PE/PET/Polymer, it does not biodegrade

The Global Recycled Standard verifies the chain of custody from post-consumer waste collection through processing to final film. When we print "30% recycled content" on your bag, that number is backed by an audit trail — not a marketing estimate. GRS covers environmental and social criteria at every stage of production.
