What is B Corp Certification?
B Corp is a third-party verification by B Lab that a company meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It scores a business on five impact areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.
We started the assessment so our packaging claims can be checked against an independent standard rather than our own marketing copy. Right now our status is Pending — the application is under review by B Lab analysts. Once verified, our entry moves from the Pending list to the full Certified B Corp directory.
Why this matters for our customers
We don't get to write our own certificate — B Lab analysts score us against ~200 indicators. Pending status is the transparent in-between state.
The Pending list at bcorporation.net is the only place to verify a Pending B Corp. We link straight to it — no screenshots, no PDFs, no vague claims.
B Corp looks at governance, workers, community, environment, customers. Passing means we operate at this level — not just talk about sustainability on the homepage.
Certified B Corps recertify every three years. Status isn't a one-time badge — it's ongoing accountability. We share the same approach to our packaging certifications.
What we do today
- •Compostable and recyclable pouches with verifiable third-party certificates (EN 13432, ASTM D6400, AS 4736, AS 5810).
- •PCR recycled content with GRS chain-of-custody audited percentages.
- •Honest pricing and timing — flag fees like the BPI logo sublicense ($3,000/yr paid to BPI) before artwork starts, never on the invoice.
- •500-piece minimums so small brands can launch with the same certified materials as large brands.
Verify our Pending status
B Corp maintains a public list of companies currently under review. Search "Achieve Pack" there — if we say we're pending and the registry lists us, the claim holds.
